Basketball Recap: John Bartram Snags Sixth Win in Last Eight Games

On Thursday, the John Bartram Braves got the win against String Theory by a conclusive 60-35. Given the Braves' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 270th, while String Theory are ranked 684th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Joseph Mccutchen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 26 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of John Bartram's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dajuan Peak, who posted 13 points.

John Bartram is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for String Theory, they dropped their record down to 2-15 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home.

John Bartram wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-35 win against Philadelphia Performing Arts on the 23rd. As for String Theory, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-37 defeat against Roxborough on the 27th.
