It was a good run, but Loyalton unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Paradise Adventist Academy Cougars, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Loyalton ultimately came up short, they really made Paradise Adventist Academy work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 26-24.

Kate Nembhard was the offensive standout of the contest as she had five digs and five aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Loyalton's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Paradise Adventist Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 21-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Loyalton is set to take on their familiar foe Westwood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Paradise Adventist Academy will square off against rival Princeton at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
