Basketball Recap: Bayshore Christian Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Robinson, Bayshore Christian was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Carrollwood Day Patriots a 2-0 shutout. The two-point effort marked the Faith Warriors' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The win got Bayshore Christian back to even at 3-3. As for Carrollwood Day, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Bayshore Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Seffner Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bayshore Christian hasn't scored more than 24 points for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse. As for Carrollwood Day, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Indian Rocks Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
