Baseball Recap: TERRA Environmental Comes Up Short

TERRA Environmental had taken Coral Shores down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. TERRA Environmental fell just short of Coral Shores by a score of 2-1. TERRA Environmental has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Juancarlos Moreno spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on two hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, TERRA Environmental saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alejandro Alvarez, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

TERRA Environmental now has a losing record of 1-2.

Coincidentally, TERRA Environmental and Coral Shores will both be playing South Dade the next time they take the field. Coral Shores will head out to face South Dade at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while TERRA Environmental will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
