Soccer Recap: Tomball Memorial Takes a Loss

Tomball Memorial and College Park squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Tomball Memorial had to settle for second. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Cavaliers who were credited with the victory. The College Park Cavaliers got it done in the shootout by posting six goals to the Tomball Memorial Wildcats' five.

Tomball Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 14-4-4. As for College Park, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 18-3-2.

Tomball Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for College Park, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Mesquite on the 28th.
