Basketball Recap: High Tech Mesa Comes Up Short

High Tech Mesa and Escondido squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but High Tech Mesa had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Escondido Cougars by a score of 53-51. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Thunder have suffered since November 15, 2023.

High Tech Mesa's defeat dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Escondido, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-11.

High Tech Mesa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Escondido, they will face off against Chula Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chula Vista will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Escondido surely won't give up without a fight.
