Volleyball Recap: Lake of the Woods Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

Lake of the Woods won the last time they faced Mahnomen/Waubun and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bears came out on top against the Thunderbirds by a score of 2-0.

Kendal Bowman paced Lake of the Woods' offense, picking up six kills. Bowman got some help from Danika Lucek and her 13 assists. Lucek and Bowman didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Lake of the Woods is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season. As for Mahnomen/Waubun, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
