Soccer Recap: Florida Christian Finds Playoff Glory Versus Divine Savior Academy

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Florida Christian had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They beat the Divine Savior Academy Sharks by a goal, winning 3-2. The Patriots wouldn't have won without Isabella Escobar, who scored the game-winner.

Florida Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four matches. As for Divine Savior Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
