Basketball Recap: Sisseton Takes a Loss

Sisseton lost against Clark/Willow Lake back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sisseton Redmen had to suffer through a 64-31 loss at the hands of the Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones. While losing is never fun, the Redmen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Cyclones are ranked 13th).

Sisseton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Clark/Willow Lake, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sisseton will take on Milbank at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clark/Willow Lake, they are taking a road trip to face off against Britton-Hecla at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
