Pascack Valley and Glen Rock squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Pascack Valley had to settle for second. They took a 49-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Glen Rock. Pascack Valley's loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Pascack Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Glen Rock, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Pascack Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Glen Rock, they will face off against Madison on Wednesday. Madison knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Glen Rock likes a good challenge.
