Softball Recap: Wheaton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Verona on Saturday, Wheaton came back down to earth. Wheaton lost 16-2 to the Southwest Trojans on Saturday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Wheaton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. Southwest has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Wheaton has already played their next game, an 18-3 victory against Verona on the 25th. As for Southwest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 17-16 loss against Exeter on the 24th.
