After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Madison, Rock Creek Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Cannelton Bulldogs as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

One reason for the win was Rock Creek Academy's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Rock Creek Academy found their leader in sophomore Khloe Lowe, who had 31 assists and three aces.

Rock Creek Academy's record now sits at 5-18. As for Cannelton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Coming up, Rock Creek Academy will take on Medora at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cannelton, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Tell City on the 23rd.
