Baseball Game Preview: Water Canyon Wildcats vs. Enterprise Wolves

Water Canyon is 0-4 against Enterprise since April of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Wildcats will look to defend their home field against the Wolves at 3:30 p.m. Water Canyon has given up an average of 18.3 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Water Canyon is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 13th straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They lost 16-2 to Millard.

Meanwhile, Enterprise waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Tigers get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Considering the Wolves have won ten contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Parker Staheli made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in ten consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Klint Bundy was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyler Randall, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Enterprise's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Water Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
