Lumberton hadn't beaten Vidor on the road since March 18, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Raiders came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 5-2. The win was familiar territory for the Raiders, who have now won four matches in a row.

Lumberton's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Pullen, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another was Ryan Verde, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Lumberton's win bumped their record up to 19-7-1. As for Vidor, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.

Lumberton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Pirates: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
