Baseball Recap: Valley Springs Takes a Loss

Valley Springs was the 13-0 winner over Mountain View when they last played one another on April 1st, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell 9-5 to the Yellowjackets on Monday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Camden Fredlund made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Logan Avery, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Valley Springs' loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Mountain View, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-11 record this season.
