Basketball Recap: Ford Comes Up Short

Ford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 104-38 loss at the hands of the Renaissance Phoenix. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 539th, while the Phoenix are ranked 142nd).

Ford's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Renaissance, they pushed their record up to 8-6 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Ford will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Western International at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th. As for Renaissance, they will face off against Pershing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
