Baseball Game Preview: Morgan County Cougars vs. Breathitt County Bobcats

The Morgan County Cougars will take on the Breathitt County Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Morgan County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

Morgan County barely beat Jackson City the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Cooper Fleming was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. He is becoming a predictor of Morgan County's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 4-1 (and 8-10 when he doesn't). Conner Fleming was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
