Baseball Recap: Pitman Takes a Loss

Pitman fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Pennsville Memorial on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Pitman's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Pennsville Memorial, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pitman will head out to face off against Collingswood at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pennsville Memorial, they will venture away from home to square off against Wildwood at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
