Baseball Game Preview: Great Oak Wolfpack vs. Temecula Valley Golden Bears

For the second straight game, Great Oak will face off against Temecula Valley. The Wolfpack will be playing at home against the Golden Bears at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Great Oak is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Temecula Valley just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Golden Bears by a score of 5-4.

Great Oak got a good showing from Riley Kronenfeld, who didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. Kronenfeld has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Gavin Fien made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxon Valenzuela, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.
