Soccer Recap: Butler Comes Up Short

After flying high against Garinger on Tuesday, Butler came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against the Providence Panthers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The match was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Butler it sure didn't stay that way.

Butler's loss dropped their record down to 12-7-2. As for Providence, their win bumped their record up to 15-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Butler will take on East Mecklenburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Providence, they will challenge Hickory Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
