After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fleming, Cheraw was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Rocky Ford Meloneers 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Meloneers: they've now won six in a row.

Cheraw not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Rocky Ford between 14 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-15.

Leading Cheraw to victory were Brilyn Miell and Emi-Lee Marquez. Miell had six digs and three aces, while Marquez had ten digs and two assists. What's more, Miell posted two assists, the most she's had since October 3rd.

They weren't the only good servers: Cheraw was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They are 12-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Cheraw's record is now 14-9. As for Rocky Ford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
