Terra Nova gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Jefferson Grizzlies 44-7. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Terra Nova had a senior duo take command as Austin Snead rushed for 185 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry and Joey Donati rushed for 93 yards and two scores on only six carries. Donati also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up two sacks and making three total tackles.

Terra Nova wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 54-14 defeat against Balboa on the 6th. As for Jefferson, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-9 loss against Capuchino on the 5th.
