Berean Christian has gone a perfect 7-0 against Mt. Diablo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Red Devils at 3:30 p.m. One thing working in Berean Christian's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last six matchups.
Berean Christian came out on top against Concord on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive 13-run seventh inning. The Eagles put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 16-5 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by eight runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Leila Rhoads, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. LeAna Cimarra was another key player, going 2-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Berean Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Concord only managed five hits.
Meanwhile, Mt. Diablo can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. Everything went their way against Ygnacio Valley as they made off with a 14-6 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Red Devils considering their one-run performance the contest before.
Sophie Ramos was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 16 over six innings pitched. Ramos was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.
Ramos wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Dazzelynn Alon, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Alon has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. Another was Noemi Gil, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Mt. Diablo's win bumped their record up to 4-15. As for Berean Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.
Mt. Diablo's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Berean Christian has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.1 hits per game. It's a different story for Mt. Diablo, though, as they've been averaging 13.7 hits. Given Berean Christian's sizable advantage in that area, the Red Devils will need to find a way to close that gap.
Berean Christian took their victory against Mt. Diablo when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 19-5 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
