Volleyball Recap: Belleville West Takes a Loss

Belleville West lost against O'Fallon back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Maroons fell 2-0 to the Panthers.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16.

Aidan Idrees paced Belleville West's offense, picking up seven kills. Idrees got some help from Amere Lawrence and his nine assists.

Belleville West's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for O'Fallon, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 20 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season.

Belleville West has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Collinsville on the 8th. As for O'Fallon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Alton on the 7th.
