Softball Recap: Johnson Warriors vs. Foothill Mustangs
In what's become a running theme this season, Johnson gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Foothill Mustangs a 16-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for Johnson, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Anissa Zavala made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (she also didn't allow any walks). Zavala was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
