Volleyball Recap: Roy's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Roy's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Northridge Knights 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Royals as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Roy who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 24-26, 25-22, 22-25, 15-12.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-7. As for Northridge, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roy will square off against Box Elder at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northridge, they will face off against Viewmont at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
