Basketball Recap: Cumberland County Takes a Loss

Cumberland County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 55-36 to the Gordonsville Tigers. The contest marked the Jets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Cumberland County's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Gordonsville, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1-1.

Cumberland County has already played their next match, a 53-48 defeat against Warren County on the 21st. As for Gordonsville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-37 loss against Clinton on the 21st.
