Volleyball Game Preview: Hamilton Huskies vs. Perry Pumas + How To Watch

The Hamilton Huskies will head out to take on the Perry Pumas at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hamilton will be strutting in after a win while Perry will be coming in after a defeat.

Hamilton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Basha, who was ranked 21st at the time (Hamilton was ranked fifth). The Huskies blew past the Bears 3-0 on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Huskies, who have now won three matchups in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-7, 25-13.

Whitney Pierzga and Nia Curry were among the main playmakers for Hamilton as the former had four digs and four aces and the latter hit 64% for 17 kills and six digs and four aces. Curry has been hot, having posted five or more kills the last seven times she's played.

Meanwhile, Perry lost 3-0 to Casteel on Tuesday.

Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 23-9. As for Perry, their loss dropped their record down to 22-16.

Hamilton beat Perry 3-1 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
