George West is a perfect 10-0 against Aransas Pass since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The George West Longhorns will look to defend their home field against the Aransas Pass Panthers at 7:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, George West didn't have quite enough to beat Cotulla and fell 6-5. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jaxson Alaniz made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that he brought in this season.

Meanwhile, Aransas Pass had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over Raymondville on Monday.

Aransas Pass' victory bumped their record up to 5-7-1. As for George West, their loss dropped their record down to 14-12-2.

George West took their win against Aransas Pass when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-4. Does George West have another victory up their sleeve, or will Aransas Pass turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
