After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Covington, Halls was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They never let the Bradford Red Devils get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory. Considering the Tigers have won ten matchups by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Halls got a massive performance out of Addyson Brodie, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. Madison Turnbow was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.
Halls always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .778. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
With the win, Halls broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-11. As for Bradford, they dropped their record down to 0-12 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Looking ahead, Halls will be playing in front of their home fans against Dresden at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bradford, they will face off against West Carroll at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The War Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
