Volleyball Recap: Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbirds vs. Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] Northern Freeze
Mahnomen/Waubun was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] Northern Freeze. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Northern Freeze this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on Saturday.
In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Mahnomen/Waubun sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-23, 20-25, 15-8.
