Copiah Academy never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Simpson Academy Cougars 35-0. The Colonels' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

The win made it two in a row for Copiah Academy and bumps their season record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 points in those games. As for Simpson Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-4.
