Landun Taylor was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Taylor was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, Caleb Wood was excellent, going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Another player making a difference was Noah Rosas, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.
Gonzales' loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Navarro, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-3-1.
