Softball Recap: Harper Comes Up Short

Harper's last matchup with Boerne-Champion could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Longhorns lost 14-4 to the Chargers. The Longhorns just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row dating back to last season.

Harper's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Boerne-Champion, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Harper has already played their next contest, a 16-4 victory against Comfort on the 16th. As for Boerne-Champion, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-5 win against Smithson Valley on the 17th.
