Baseball Recap: Central Bucks East Comes Up Short

Central Bucks East came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 15-2 to the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Colonials apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Central Bucks East got a good showing from Gavin Bloch, who pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Anthony Niro made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and two RBI.

Central Bucks East has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, their record is now 4-5.

Looking ahead, Central Bucks East is taking a road trip to take on Pennridge at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Colonials surely won't give up without a fight.
