Baseball Recap: Buffalo Turns Things Around After Road Loss

Buffalo's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Wayzata on Thursday. Everything went the Bison's way against the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm as they made off with a 12-2 win.

NOLAN MULLENBACH spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on RILEY WEST, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of CARSON ADRIAN, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Buffalo now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buffalo will challenge Minnetonka at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sauk Rapids-Rice, they will host Bemidji at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
