Volleyball Recap: Lyman Raiders vs. Philip Scotties
If Lyman was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Jones County last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lyman Raiders fell just short of the Philip Scotties by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Scotties recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Lyman took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-19, 20-25, 23-25, 25-16, 15-12.
Lyman's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Philip, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-15.
Lyman and Highmore/Harrold are set to duel on Tuesday. As for Philip, they will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Roncalli at 11:00 a.m.
