Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Round Lake). They took their game on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 49-0 win over the North Chicago Warhawks. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois flag football rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while the Warhawks are ranked 216th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Round Lake's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Aria Randolph with two sacks.

Round Lake's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for North Chicago, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Round Lake will welcome Grayslake Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Chicago, they will square off against Waukegan at 6:00 p.m. on October 2.
