Softball Recap: Watsonville Takes a Loss

Watsonville lost against Hollister back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcatz came up short against the Haybalers, falling 7-1. The Wildcatz have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Watsonville saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Alves, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Watsonville's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Hollister, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Watsonville is set to challenge their familiar foe Salinas at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Hollister will square off against rival Palma at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
