Volleyball Game Preview: Nanuet Golden Knights vs. Walter Panas Panthers

Nanuet is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Monday. They will host the Walter Panas Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Nanuet came up short against Ardsley and fell 3-1. The Golden Knights have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Nanuet couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Ardsley a tough time in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 34-32, 21-25, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Walter Panas came up short against Lakeland last Friday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-13, 25-15.

Nanuet now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Walter Panas, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Nanuet couldn't quite get it done against Walter Panas when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Golden Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
