Soccer Recap: College Prep of America Comes Up Short

If College Prep of America was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Islamic Foundation on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Thunder fell 3-1 to Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to College Prep of America of the 7-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Kareem Ismail, who's now up to ten this season.

College Prep of America has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8-1.

College Prep of America has already played their next match, a 9-2 defeat against Christian Heritage Academy on the 3rd. As for Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family, they will face off against Marquette Manor Baptist Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Marquette Manor Baptist Academy's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family's offense will have their work cut out for them.
