Softball Recap: West Bridgewater Comes Up Short

West Bridgewater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 15-1 to the Seekonk Warriors. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

West Bridgewater saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alanna Fidalgo, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

West Bridgewater's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Seekonk, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Bridgewater will face off against Bourne at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Seekonk, they will square off against Dighton-Rehoboth Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
