             Warren Township has been away from home for two games now, but  on Friday they'll finally make their return. They will welcome the Barrington Fillies/Broncos  at 7:30  p.m. Warren Township will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  points each  contest than the last.
 Warren Township is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Friday. They walked away with  a   31-24  victory over Palatine.
  Aaron Stewart was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 212 yards and three touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional  as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 113  rushing yards.
 Warren Township was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 250  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 157  rushing yards in three consecutive  games.
 Warren Township didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Zion Vines-Peterson and  Antonio Moore. Moore also  made four  total tackles, which is notable because Warren Township is 5-1 when he posts  at  least  four  total tackles, but 1-3 otherwise.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask Barrington). They breezed by South Elgin to the tune of  66-13 on Friday. Given the Fillies/Broncos' advantage  in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings  (they are ranked 25th, while the Storm are ranked 155th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Barrington's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Nick Peipert led the charge by throwing for 373 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87% of his passes.  Austin Coles was another key pass catcher, picking up 187 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 Barrington's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB  three times. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Jack Burzynski.
 Warren Township's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Barrington, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the  victory, which was their 13th straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Friday's  match will pit two  of the most dominant  backs against one another:  Stewart and  Calvin Jackson. Stewart just won't slow down this season and  has run in 27 touchdowns while averaging 197.5 rushing yards per game. Jackson has been a dominant force too and  has run in 27 touchdowns while averaging 138.7 rushing yards per game.
