Volleyball Recap: Vaughn Takes a Loss

Vaughn lost against Corona back in October of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles came up short against the Cardinals, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Eagles haven't been shut out since back in September.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-10, 25-14.

Vaughn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Corona, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Vaughn is set to square off against their familiar foe Alamo Navajo at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Corona will take on rival Carrizozo at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
