Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lowell). Their defense stepped up to hand the Merrillville Pirates a 10-0 shutout on Saturday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Lowell with their most commanding win of the season.

Their offense was hitting Merrillville from everywhere, as ten different players booted in a goal.

The victory made it two in a row for Lowell and bumps their season record up to 6-7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those two matchups. As for Merrillville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
