Lake Nona barely beat University the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions blew past the Cougars 3-0 on Tuesday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

While Lake Nona won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15, 25-22.

Santiago Peralta paced Lake Nona's offense, picking up 11 kills. Peralta got some help from Jayden Serrano and his 25 assists. Rylan Beard and Zack Dehaan kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Lake Nona's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for University, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Lake Nona wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Freedom on the 27th. As for University, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against West Orange on the 27th.
