If Wyatt wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Arlington Heights, they should've done a better job of containing Carson James. The Yellowjackets were the clear victors by a 60-34 margin over the Chaparrals on Friday thanks in part to James, who rushed for 249 yards and five TDs while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. James is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 124 every time he's taken the field this season.

Despite the loss, Wyatt still got an impressive performance from Kentrell Steward, who rushed for 168 yards and one touchdown while picking up 10.5 yards per carry, and also threw for 132 yards and three TDs. Markavion Toombs was in the mix too, providing the Chaparrals with two scores.

Arlington Heights' record is now 7-1. As for Wyatt, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Arlington Heights will welcome Trimble Tech at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Wyatt, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 37-31 win against Paschal on the 23rd.
