Football Game Preview: Maui Sabers vs. Kamehameha Maui Warriors

The Maui Sabers will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Kamehameha Maui Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Maui has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight losses, while Kamehameha Maui will come in with three straight wins.

Meanwhile, Kamehameha Maui faced Baldwin in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 49-28 margin over the Bears. Considering the Warriors have won four matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Maui's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Kamehameha Maui, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Maui took their win against Kamehameha Maui in their previous meeting back in August by a conclusive 30-7 score. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Warriors' Zedekaiah Campbell, who rushed for 93 yards and one TD on only seven carries.
