Basketball Game Preview: Kindred Vikings vs. Central Cass Squirrels

Kindred and Central Cass are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Kindred Vikings will host the Central Cass Squirrels at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kindred has six straight victories, Central Cass has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Kindred is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Lisbon 83-27. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Broncos are ranked 106th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Central Cass ended up a good deal behind Thompson on Thursday and lost 77-60.

Kindred is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points per game. As for Central Cass, their loss dropped their record down to 12-3.
