Baseball Recap: Manawa Takes a Loss

Manawa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Berlin Indians, falling 9-2.

Manawa's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Berlin, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.

Coming up, Manawa will look to defend their home field on Monday against Weyauwega-Fremont at 4:30 p.m. The Warhawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.63 runs per game on average), something the Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Berlin, they will square off against Plymouth at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
